2023 Lincoln MKC Engines
Under the hood, the 2023 Lincoln MKC will continue with two familiar turbo-four engines. Base models will feature a 2.0-liter unit, which is good for about 240 horsepower. You can also opt for a more powerful 2.3-liter engine, which features a max output of around 285 horsepower.
Both engines come with a 6-speed automatic transmission and despite the notable difference in power, they somehow feel pretty much the same when it comes to acceleration and overall performances. Our advice would be to pick the base engine, because of the cheaper price and better fuel economy, which goes around 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The good thing about both engines is that premium fuel isn’t required.
MKC Goes Corsair
The 2023 Lincoln MKC will surely arrive under the name “Lincoln Corsair”. Most of the current company’s models posses three-letter monikers. That includes models such as MKC and MKZ. Lincoln is working on new names such as Navigator or Continental.

Corsair is just a start. MKZ model will arrive under the name “Zephyr” in the near future. The more logical name will attract younger buyers and women. According to the latest researches, women represent more than half of the buyers of this luxury SUV.
Sales
Plenty of dealerships and markets are totally interested in Lincoln’s models. The 2023 Lincoln MKC is just one of the popular models in the company’s lineup of sedans and SUVs. Interestingly, MKC is currently the best-selling Lincoln’s model in China. On the other hand, in the United States, this model is not that much popular.
The MKC model still gains more sales than its rivals from Lexus and Cadillac. No doubt the sales will go up in the coming years. New 2023 MKC will rival Audi Q3, Cadillac XT4, and Lexus NX models. Most of the markets already gave a thumbs up for the new MKC/Corsair model. That includes Mexico, Canada, the United States, and China.
2023 MKC Updates and Changes
A redesigned 2024 model will use the same structure as the new Ford Escape. Not a single piece of metal or interior trims are borrowed. For that reason, we can call this model very unique. The 2023 Lincoln MKC will be built on that. We can expect plenty of new features and small design updates New Corsair/MKC model will feature a long roof design and sharp tailgate.
The front fascia will look modern and we can expect small updates up front. That includes slightly larger bumper or headlights. Rear suspension will be updated. Lincoln wants to deliver an even quieter and smoother ride than before. The interior will only get small technology updates. Performance should remain the same.
2023 Lincoln MKC Black Label
Company’s famous Black Label trim attract the most interest from the buyers. It is the range-topping trim level that offers nothing but the luxury. The 2023 Lincoln MKC Black Labe will be in the offer, no doubt about it.
This luxury variant will represent one of the most premium models in the segment. For now, this model is very certain. We are still waiting for the exact details. For now, we know that the MKC model will arrive under the name “Corsair” at some point in 2024.
Despite the famous luxury carmaker now practices a completely new naming policy, there are still a couple of models that feature that generic three-leather names in production. One of them is the MKC. The company has introduced an all-new model called Corsair, which is of the same size, this small crossover will carry on for some more time, as a more affordable alternative. It received a refreshed recently.
We have no doubt that the product will last for a couple of more years. According to the latest reports, the 2023 Lincoln MKC should be the last production year model.
Style
Considering that this should be the last year model of this crossover, we don’t expect to see bigger changes. We saw a facelift recently and the MKC came with some nice exterior updates. Of course, the focus was on the front end, so you can now notice a completely new face, which follows the brand’s latest design philosophy, with a lot of details borrowed from new models like Corsair, Aviator, and others. We don’t expect to see any notable change on the 2023 Lincoln MKC.
Mechanically, this crossover hasn’t changed too much since the launch. It rides on the company’s familiar Global C platform. Interestingly, it will continue to be offered along with the new Corsair. The MKC shares a lot with the previous-generation Escape, while the new Corsair is closely related to the new Escape, which has been introduced recently. Naturally, the 2023 Lincoln MKC will be offered as a more affordable alternative.
Interior
The recent update didn’t include too many interior changes. The 2023 Lincoln MKC will continue with a little bit outdated cabin design, which definitely isn’t on par with other luxury crossovers in the class. You can easily see that many areas actually feature hard plastics and other low-rent materials, while the dashboard definitely isn’t as stylish as you would expect from a premium crossover.

Other notable standard tech features are things like Bluetooth, a nine-speaker audio system, satellite radio, Lincoln’s MyKey system, a Wi-Fi hot spot, etc. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard features, while higher trims offer upgrades with things like navigation, premium 14-speaker audio system, etc.
