2023 Nissan Titan XD Diesel Specs and Price. The 2023 Nissan Titan XD could finally get important upgrades. After some big cuts, Titan XD failed to manage good sales. It is a clear indication that Nissan’s changes weren’t that successful. The thing is that Nissan made Titan XD truck available in a crew cab setup exclusively. Removing the diesel powertrain was another miss. While this truck has no real competition, interests are lower than ever before.
For that reason, the 2023 Titan XD should arrive with significant changes. Returning diesel engines is just the beginning. This model will gain a new unique look and it will slot between the half-ton and heavy-duty truck segments. Titan XD is a very interesting model with so much to offer. Nissan has no room for mistakes this time. Here’s what you can expect from the new Titan XD pickup truck.

Diesel Powertrain Specs
New 2023 Nissan Titan XD will continue to offer its current 5.6-liter V8 gasoline engine. The same engine powers the regular Titan truck and the Armada SUV. Interestingly, even the Infiniti QX80 uses the very same powerplant. While the rumors about the new twin-turbo V6 are present, a diesel engine is the most likely outcome.
Nissan will most likely return its 5.0-liter V8 turbodiesel in the offer. This engine is a perfect fit for models such as Titan XD. It can generate 330 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to that, Titan XD will get better-towing capacity, improved fuel efficiency, and greater off-road ability.
2023 Nissan Titan XD Nismo
The other possible outcome is the Warrior concept. It is a concept that has been introduced a few years ago. With Ram introducing the TRX version, the Warrior concept could actually happen. This concept was firstly presented in 2016, but Nissan never transformed it into a production model. Warrior is another aggressive treatment that perfectly suits trucks such as Titan. Titan XD Warrior will take on models such as Ram Power Wagon and Ford Tremor if this happens.
What About Nismo Variant?
As you know, Nismo is Nissan’s special package. According to some rumors, the new 2023 Nissan Titan XD Nismo could happen. The special edition is usually available in smaller models, but a pickup truck with a Nismo upgrade sounds great.

Nismo treatment will surely deliver a more eye-catching appearance with sportier design and more aggressive bodywork. This is just a rumor at the moment and we are waiting for Nissan to deny those claims or make it official.

I have people flock around my Titan XD midnight edition diesel. The drooling fans are where can they get it only to be told Nissan dropped it before many even knew it existed. Yes the best damned truck ever. Just keep in mind most family travel trailers have about a 1000 to 1200 tongue weight. If your payload only allow 1500 I can take my family, dog or fire wood. come on my 1/2 ton chev get rocked all over with my 26ft winnebago, the Titan handles it with ease. Funny thing though the Chev is legal but Titan isn’t because of the low payload. The towing weight is great, the power is great, it tracks straight and even the non free floating axles are fine the the payload is lower than a mini truck . Reall at leat 1800 to 2000 payload and it should fly out of showrooms, get a clue nissan. I’m ready to switch back to dodge but a new diesel keeps me in the Nissan ranks and their biggest evangelist
